A SECOND BELGRAVIA WALK
Wednesday 16 August 2017

Cost: £5   Maximum 15

We will meet outside Sloane Square station at 10.30 am.

Belgravia has been one of London's most desirable addresses since the late 17th century.

On this walk we will be looking out for the many Blue plaques on the houses which we pass, as this area has been home to many famous people ranging from the Earl and Countess Mountbatten to Brian Epstein.

Some of the Belgravia streets have a village feel to them and there are plenty of charming pubs to "visit".  Our walk ends near The Grenadier, which was built in 1720 as the Officers Mess for The First Royal Regiment of Foot Guards and is said to be haunted.

We will finish the walk at Hyde Park Corner Underground station (Piccadilly line) at about 12.30.
